1 tbsp oil

300g bak choi

3 cloves garlic, minced

to taste, salt

a dash of cooking wine (optional: Shaoxing Wine, Sherry, Sake)


1. Heat a saucepan or wok. When the pan is smoking, add oil and Bak Choi. Give it a quick stir and add in the garlic

2. Season with a pinch of salt and continuously toss the Bak Choi to ensure that the garlic coats the vegetables while the liquid reduces.

3. If using cooking wine, pour it around the pan and stir fry until most of the liquid has evaporated from the pan/wok.

4. Serve!
