Ingredients:
1" knob ginger, smashed
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp salt
300g Gai Lan
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil, add in a slice of smashed ginger and salt. (The fragrance of ginger is released when it is smashed)
2. When the water is at a rapid boil, add the Gai Lan and cook until the centre of the stem is translucent.
3. Strain the water and serve!
